Amanda and I don't use facebook anymore. We've made the decision that while social media may be a power for the good, its current state for us provides less benefit than good. We still maintain accounts, but they're inactive.
However, we know that facebook has a lot of value to families sharing memories and interacting with each other. We just prefer to do that privately. So, since I'm a tech junkie, I decided to launch a private site to share memories and interact using open source software.
So, we've launched a new app called the Clique. It's based on the excellent Zulip chat platform, but customized for us to share information about our family.
